CREATING REFLECTION - POWER OF POST-PROCESSING
This time of the year, it's hard for me not to be influenced by the color of spring. The previous post was shot in Charleston, S.C., eight hours from home. This image was captured in Cheekwood Garden in Nashville, TN, one hour from home. Obviously, you don't have to travel far to find signs of spring. This image was heavily processed. Cropped out a lot of distractions in front of the tulip bed, added a soft glow filter, and added the water reflection. Some would call this manipulation and qualifies as photography malpractice. I take the view that it is creating something with visual impact.
